  The largest LEGO box is?

I always thought that the largest LEGO set box was the 6991 Monorail Transport Base. But we just bought a copy of an old SCALA set -- the 3290 family house. I don't have the 6991 box handy to measure for comparison, but here are the box (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: problem with parts

(...) 1. whoops. Dang, I mindlessly pasted the images into gif file without thinking. I will delete those. 2. The plates will be fixed. I made the decision to go ahead and release the parts as-is, and wait for a fix from Steve. -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Update 9904 released

(...) You are correct, sir. I was aware of that, and Steve Bliss has already said he will fix those of his that are in error, as well as an original piece by James. At the time he said this, I already had the update all ready to go, and so decided (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Where should I center this one?

(...) Exsqueeze me? Look again, Sproat. Some of the hinge pieces *are* centered on the hinge section: 3830 3831 2429 2430 3149 314 3324 -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Where should I center this one?

(...) Agreed. Rotation is the bigger pain. (...) In LEdit, I occasionally add an imaginary new piece, "rotate.dat", after the piece I want to rotate. Move it to the point where I want it, then set the rotation on that point. Move back up a line to (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Technic hose - 9

(...) Mark, you need to increase the line length in your newsreader when posting dat files. Several lines in the files have been wrapped, resulting in "holes" in the ldlite output. You should probably cancel the two faulty postings if you repost (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Name: Town Details Series (Was: Furniture Series)

(...) Sorry Jeff. I like them. I am thinking about using a halogen lamp in one of my scenes, but have not yet decided. They are great little details. And the streetlamps are clever, I especially like the one with palm tree top. -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Minifig hair

(...) No. No hair, yet. It would be nice to have, though. I get tired of putting hats and helmets on everyone, and I don't like having the stud-bald look. (...) Nope. Outta luck on this one as well. -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: "Bundling" sets for auctions doesn't work well.

(...) Well, I've rarely seen the 1967 broken up, but I have seen people break up copies of the Launch Command triple pack before. I just figured since I had one left that was unopened I would auction them that way in case someone else wanted them (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: mockup of the SW PIECES

Re: New Name: Town Details Series (Was: Furniture Series)

Post on! I took a quick look, but like Ryan I'm too busy w/ SW stuff to think much town. Someday, though, I'm sure I'll be looking for a good street lamp or something, and the first place I'll look is here. -John Van Jeff Stembel (...) (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: "Bundling" sets for auctions doesn't work well.

(...) It may depend on the general price range the items are falling into. Generally, the more bundled something is, the greater the number of people who will be attracted to something inside the bundle. But above a certain point, it becomes (...) (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.market.theory)
