Re: Making parts 2999 and 2998 work together

(...) I say reposition 2999. I think that the few, if any, models that use this part could be updated with relative ease and the frustration saved by going this route would offset any inconveinence. -Orion (22 years ago, 3-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: What town set would you recommend to a Technic fan?

(...) If you're starting out, the just-rereleased Main Street is a good way to start. It has all the parts to make some nice house(s), doesn't contain much unusable parts and seems pretty decently priced. The Octan gasstation is also quite good, (...) (22 years ago, 2-Feb-03, to lugnet.town)

What town set would you recommend to a Technic fan?

Hi all, What do you think is the best town set for someone (like me) who likes almost exclusively Lego Technic and Mindstorms? (22 years ago, 2-Feb-03, to lugnet.town)

Making parts 2999 and 2998 work together

I posted a 'hold' review on the wheel from the 8080 Super Car (part 2998). You can read it at: (URL). The part file itself is good. Unfortunately, 2998 only fits with part 2999 (see 2999 at (URL). 2999 was released back in 1998. Right now, the two (...) (22 years ago, 2-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: point of view

(...) Actually, lugnet.cad.dat no longer exists as an actual, active group for posting. Now, it's just a placeholder for old posts and a gathering point for the .dat.subgroups. (...)   CAD monkey for hire [was Re: CAD instructions for hover car]

Firtst, thanks to all those that commented. It's only a fairly simple little model - nowhere near the league of most stuff posted here - but it's simplicity lended itself well to making rendered instructions. Despite the simplicity it took more (...) (22 years ago, 2-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)
