Re: "Borrowed" Lamborghini Diablo design on Ebay.de

Ultimately this may be the best thing to happen. There's some understanding and a whole lot of us learned something from it. I wonder though, where do you plan to go from here? Did the apology suffice? I suppose you could ask for some of the money (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.de)

  Re: CamCom ActiveX.exe

hi Manfred, this looks great, finally a "real" freeware version (I never succeeded in getting the other (Belgium) freeware). Just started the program and try to run it with a very old Dynalink camera under winXP, it worked right away. I don't have a (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics.vc)

  Re: 8475 and skipping...

(...) I just got this set for Christmas (for the kids) and under load it will frequently jerk or skip with the speed cutting out or the steering messing up.   Re: Fair Use vs. Infringement (was: Re: Intellectual property and the Internet)

But the problem with that argument is that, in the case mentioned, the notecard had been copyrighted. If somebody went and stole the design, he could get into trouble for copyright infrigment. The defense argued saying that they hadn't copied very (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.de)

Re: "Borrowed" Lamborghini Diablo design on Ebay.de

(...) That's funny. When I started reading this thread, the first thing I thought of was "I bet Daniel Siskund would be upset if his blacksmith shop was ripped off and sold." I think it really sucks that your idea was ripped off and sold, especially (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.de)

  Next TCLug Meeting (January)

Hi Everybody! We are looking to hold our TCLug January meeting on Saturday, January 11th at Brian's House (we thought this might be a more flexible day).   Which hotel?

Which hotel are the out of town brickswest attendees gravitating towards? The Holiday Inn Carlsbad-by-the-Sea seems convenient, since it's next door to the Windmill, where the convention stuff is taking place, but I know not what to choose. Adrian (...)   LDRAW Viewer and L3P

I just noticed that L3P and LDRAW Viewer do not play well together. Running an LDRAW Viewer file through L3P produces a ".pov" file that contains only 1 black brick.   Re: Brick Testament site linked with child porn case??!!

My main complaint is that they seem to have confused my site "Brick Tales", with Brendan's.
