  My Porta-Botty

I have a Portable Bot Factory, and I'm not afraid to use it! Mua-haa-haa-haa-haaaaa! It was surprisingly difficult to build, too - took me over three hours. The hardest part was deciding what should stay and what shouldn't. I'm going to take it (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

It's couched in the usual over-assertive letter-to-the-editor style that seems the only way to get past the sub-editors. to: (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.general)

  Re: Top 1000 noisemakers

(...) ok, here it is. Like last time, only people who posted from the web interface were counted - it's too much of a pain to deal with parsing email addresses for unique ids. So as /. says, if you use these numbers for anything at all, you're out (...) Good start, Steve. Your characters look good. Can't wait to see more! Oh, the Rogue's Gallery is a fun idea. Who else is going to go in there? Still Building, Josh (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Things I should never do....

If you'd like, I can take a look at it. Admittedly, monitor/tv's and I don't get along too well - I bat about 50% repair rate, but I can take a stab at it for you. Just keep in mind that I've got school starting in January and any montor repairs (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Th - Time signal is High Tl - Time signal is Low Tt - total time ------________ Th Tl <---- Tt --------> Matthias Jetleb P.S.: Th/Tt is defined as the duty cycle, expressed as a percent.   Jango Fett "knockoffs"

I finally finished my JangoFett sculpture knockoffs of the custom one that the Lego company put up on Ebay last month. (URL) ldraw files came together pretty quickly with MLCad, and I used LPub to create the final images. I'm still getting the hang (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

That's a nice ship. I especially like the fork-like bow and the glowing engines, which are quite a unique touch. (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  My New Website

Hi all, Well I finally got a digital camera and have taken some pictures of my lego world. So far there isn't much beyond a cast of characters, and a little other silliness. So far it isn't anything elaborate or much beyond a skeleton page, but I'd (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: the perfect way to sell lego trains

It is my belief that as long as LEGO® markets trains toward children, we won't see much progress being made. I too, would like the company to aim it's train line at fine hobby shops worldwide...then we should see a sharp rise in interest when the (...) You know what I thought of when I saw this and I loved it! Remember in the Buck Rogers episodes, when the Bird guy "Hawk" had that cool Bird like Space ship. It was the coolest right!
