  Re: Dave's TGV train

(...) I am very happy with the design of the train and the colors. I was some what forced to have the red just because I never got a metro liner so I never got any gray train plates. I did end up getting one gray train plate from another PNLTC (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Obi Wan's Brother

I was just flipping through the Essential Guide of Star Wars Characters and I made a discovery which really surprised me. It turns out that Uncle Owen Lars is really the brother of Obi Wan Kenobi. Apparently, Obi Wan brought the infant, Luke (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: wtb train parts

(...) They don't have the door, but they DO have the pantograph shoe. The trick is to determine a more recent set that uses the part if you can. Both these are rare parts generally. (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Payment to the UK

Thanks, Richard. So far I have not used my factorees to do general payments for third parties, much, but I do pay them for their time and trouble, so I'd be willing to consider it. This is not a scheme for when you are in a tearing hurry, it's a (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: The Gary Louie Memorial Auction

Here's an update on pay/ship status. Update also going via email so if you are a participant and you don't get a copy by tomorrow, please drop me an email to my ctp account.   Re: SW sets/piece inventories

Actually, the Sith Infiltrator does contain two dark gray low-slopes. Although they are the familiar 2x3 ones, NOT the new 2x4 ones. I'm sure because I'm looking at the one I have as I'm typing this. Dave James Brown wrote in message ... (...) Does (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Dash Rendar's Outrider

(...) The Outrider is cool. I am not sure of the size, but I do believe it is supposed to be a bit smaller than the MF. AFAIK, I am the only one with an E-Wing. So far. Pictures: (URL) / Instructions: (URL) Terry K -- (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: What little loc groups are best for

(...) Yes and yes. (...) But there's no text that even indicates the numbers are related to the sizes of the discussion groups :) (...) Ah - but what is the correct way of using the groups? If most people in a country are happy with how they are (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: What little loc groups are best for

(...) My own suggestion would be something like this. Roughly what I've changed is to remove the technical-looking lines and replace them by more friendly sounding information. At the same time, though, I think the info should be in the pages (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Star Wars Lego Design Contest?

(...) Better? That is pretty subjective. I have a few that have come out pretty good. But I make no claims. :-) (...) At this point, it is probably a 'gimme' that the MF will win a prize. -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: how long is this part?`

(...) Why is this topic in .general not a .cad group? Seems a misdirected post. Why are you modeling without elements in hand? Seems a misdirected effort. Jonathon, you're wasting bandwidth and time. Post a pic of the element instead of floundering (...) (26 years ago, 17-May-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Spyrius at Zainy Brainy??

(...) Very unusual. Spyrius was not the most popular theme, but I thought it was pretty good - especially for all the black pieces. -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 17-May-99, to lugnet.general)
