i think that the judge of wether a set is available should be the lego online catalog. if a set appears on either the US or European online catalogs it is a current set. also a set should be promotional if it is in huw millingtons promotional set (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

dark forest has been discontinued. i checked the lego online catalog for all countries and there were no dark forest sets on it. i think that any dark forest available from either TLG or elsewhere will be remnant sets... (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

The backpacks don't fit with the helmets on. The helmets are bulky. Are those blasters on the side of the Speeder Bikes? Otherwise the set is Ok. Woulda liked to seen the Princess. (sigh) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.starwars)

I have discovered that the instructions for building the compiler on the legOS site have changed. They now say to build egcs, whereas they used to say to build gcc.
