  Re: LEGO Theatrical "trailer"

Nice going eric, at least you found something to laugh at. From Yahoo Movies (URL) and Dragons (2000) Critics Reviews CNN.com: Dumb & dreadful - "...so poorly executed, you start to feel like you're watching the world's most expensive script (...) (24 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2001)

  Re: help id'ing set

(...) A green or brown Humvee like vehicle 5 or 6 years ago? It is definitely not Lego, at least not a regular set. Might be a promotional but I still don't think so. Believe me, I have aprox. 4000 Lego set pics in my possession...:-) Selçuk (24 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.general)

Re: Chrome sets advertised (was Re: Lego Sales RULE!!!)

Just got a set from my local Safeway tonight. They were in one of the fixed promotional shelves they have in the store. The boxes are a lot larger than I had been expecting. Martin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Melody Brown" (...) (24 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: License - again

(...) I've written some thoughts further down in this thread, but what I know about license details I'll write here (but hasn't this been gone over before?) GPL infects derivative works.   Re: License - again

(...) Pardon me for jumping into the middle here, but as an application developer, this is my statement on this point: I've put in about a hundred hours into my parts-using app BrickDraw3D.   Re: Who did I bump into in the San Jose CA Toys Are Us Saturday Night?

(...) I don't know who it was, but it wasn't me. San Jose is a little out of the way for me (about 6-7 hours out of the way actually). On another note though, I like the MOC's. I really like the red ship. It looks very sleek, I may have to steal (...) (24 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New MOC idea, but i need help w/the design...

(...) If you have any of the newer Star Wars games they usually have some 3-d models, the Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels has a front and top or a top and side, I can't remember and I'm too lazy to get up and go look.   Re: Help with my robot

(...) You will probably need a rotation sensor to ensure that the robot is travelling in a straight line. No two LEGO motors will rotate at the same speed, so you will always encounter drift when driving a robot. I can think of three solutions: 1. (...) (24 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Part rotation point

I thought it this way: o Each part can have several custom rotation points - each with a different name for the user o The user can select the general rotation point strategy (e.g. world origine, part center ... part rotation point). o Here I (...) (24 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Help with my robot

My first suggestion would be a swivel wheel in the front to make turning easier for the bot. The only solution to your programming would be two rotation sensors to aid in running straight and to measure the distance that you have traveled. This (...) (24 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)
