Re: Weeks Box - round two (...no, really!)

Got it today! WOO WOO!!! Nice box Chris! always a pleasure to get my grubby little paws into your box :) It's already going to need a bigger box for me to send it to Kyle, who's address I already have! It was rough trying to decide what to put in (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: A new Zainy Brainy just opened...

(...) Well, I thought I responded to this earlier, but I guess it was only in my imagination. I contacted Zainy and it doesn't appear as if they are doing anything spectacular for the Grand opening. No sales on any Lego :( Rob, Are you from around (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.phi.har)

Re: What is with the Technic Stormtrooper?

Yep, I agree. I actually don't but technic anymore just for the reason that these beam pieces are not LEGO enough. The main pieces they use are the L-shaped studless beam mentioned above. They also use way too many rods and those giant molded (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: New parts for 2001?

(...) Heck, I'm probably not going to be able to live it down after I slap that "muffin head" hairpiece on my mini-me fig. :^D ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Latest Larger Layout

(...) Looks good. The only problem I see is that it short-circuits the loop. (And I'm still being silent about a 61x61 mountain with 4 tunnels & a spiral) :) James James Brown's Parts Sale: (URL) parts, averaging $0.10 per piece. (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

  Re: Ghost Stories

One time I stepped on a LEGO in the middle of the night in my bare feet and I cursed so viscously my grandpappy rolled over in his grave... "No TV and No Beer make Homer something something..." (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.fun)

  Pawl and rachet?

Hello everybody again -- thank you all for the respones, sorry I haven't gotten back to some of you who emailed me privately, I've been swamped with work. I had some great lego sets recommended to me and I'm trying to find out where I can acquire (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: High Speed Trains-Photogallery Link-LEGO Acela v.1

Hi James, (...) THAT is the point. There is no right or single solution, the possibilities are enormous, depends on which aspect in designing the model you as builder put the most affords in! (...) Yes, you are right. When I got some time at work I (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Ames Toy Sale

(...) That policy of no rainchecks stinks. Ames is famous for running their Lego sales without restocking first, but for such a highly advertised sale that is set to last for nearly 30 days this policy is very poor merchandising. As it turns out, (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Ghost Stories

Hello does anyone have any Lego related Ghost stories (ie Ghost stoires involving Lego charecters)? Of course if you have any the other way around they might be intresting as well! Alex (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.fun)

Re: Lego set #7171 for sale

(...) And Target has this non-sales priced at $50 with a Droid Fighter, so unless someone lives far from a Target or TRU, I doubt that you'll sell it here. BEN (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

Not only they showed him twice in the catalogue, even the box is actually wrong! (It shows nearly the same as the catalogue: two Bobas) TLC also does this a lot for the Belville and Scala line. They put a large picture of the actual set in the (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

Re: What is with the Technic Stormtrooper?

(...) As a matter of fact I have. Furthermore, I build mecha that stand 8-9 in. tall over and over again (and mix and match joint combos often). Mark Sandlin and Ben Vaughn use those peices in their mecha on occasion too. Of course if youre (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New parts for 2001?

(...) Possible but I don't think so. If you look closely at the bottom of the cylinder you can see cutouts for studs so my guess is that it is good old ABS. Eric Kingsley (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: New parts for 2001?

(...) Me too. I guess they'll just be used for atmospheric craft. I still kind of like the shape, so I'll probably acquire at least one, just so I can check it all out. ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

  Lego set #7171 for sale

I ran across a #7171 and wanted to gage the interest in the set before I buy for resale. I am asking , shall we say around $50 for the set. two of the boxes are unopened and one box has been opened.
