  Re: Minifig in LDLite 1.5

(...) Oh yes of course! Me stoopid. I was so eager to download and try it that I didn't even think of that. Looks like Paul set the standard for colour definitions. Good. Developement of LDS and colours list will follow the same standard as far as (...) (27 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: So why build robots out of LEGO in the first place?

Reverent Legoists, For a mere five percent of your legos I will send you special cans of Lego(tm) air. I bring this down once a week from the top of Mount Lego(tm). This air can be used in all of your pneumatic devices. Also, for those holiest of (...) (27 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Do these elements exist in green? If you have some will you sell?

I'm doing an SW-xxxx (probably a 1500 because it won't have top rounded windows) and I decided to do it in C&NW colors because yellow and green aren't used much in existing Train models. But I've discovered that I'm short (or have, but don't know (...) (27 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.trains)

  Re: RcxCC Joystick controls

I don't see the problem. The Joystick in RcxCC deals with this without any problem. Use the drive-steer mode and choose the correct driving and steering motor and you can remotely control the car from the computer. (Drive-steer is not available in (...)   Re: #9 Shell sets making appearances.

Sorry, I appear to be a bit slow! Do you need to buy petrol to get points to get the Shell sets, or can you just walk in with a wad of money and buy them? Not that I have a wad of money but still! Cheers, Richard (27 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Pneumatic Tanks

Well, you can break those bottles... In high school, we made squirt guns out of plastic 2 litre pop (soda) bottles and about $20 worth of pipe fittings from the local hardware store. These thing were quite the beasts, compared to the little hand (...) (27 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  legOS help needed

I have downloaded cygwin32 and the binaries that were precompiled. I have also compiled Markus's sample programs and the firmdl.c file distributed with legOS.   2 Motors off one output???

I'm sure that this has been covered before, but!!! Has anyone (or can it be done) hooked two motors(i want them to move in the same direction) up to one of the "A", "B", or "C" outputs.   Re: 3 sensors = 8 inputs?!

(...) The way the inputs work does not allow hooking something up to two inputs at the same time while still keeping independent use of the inputs. You would need to add at least diodes. I assume you want a pure LEGO solution, but LEGO doesn't have (...) (27 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: 3 sensors = 8 inputs?!

(...) Unless you add a bit of electronics to multiplex your sensors, use the existing three digital inputs as a mini parallel port, design a simple communications protocol and send the sensor statuses from the module to the RCX using the protocol.   Re: BotCode

You probably did not have to move the Spirit.OCX as it was already there from an install of the Lego software. Yes, I find BotCode and excellent package with only minor bugs. And yes I paid my $20 by CC and got my package with hours over the (...) (27 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
