Has anyone else noticed that the central stud for the scorpion is hollow whereas on the box + instructions etc, the stud is solid? Or are my scorpions just mutant? Fun Scorpion Fact: Add one of those 1x1 black levers to the top of one to make a (...) (27 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

What do you have in mind? I could add "none" choices when indicating motors fr left and right (or drive ans steer). This would mean that the robot only moves forwards and backwards (or left and right). Would that be what you want? (If you have just (...) (27 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I own an handy-board now for 2 months and I have now 2 GP2D02 connected to it. (took me 1 hour to hook them up and test) You need a digital output-pin(like one off the spi-pins) or make use of the expansion-board, which has digital outputs. I (...) Let's pretend you had a LOT of the motor/sensor connector wires: Sensor #1 is connected to input port #1 hit = 1 0 0 Sensor #2 is connected to input port #2 hit = 0 1 0 Sensor #3 is connected to (...) I recommend "Gordon's Brick Programmer" as a replacement for the Mindstorms Programming Environment. Tree view based instead of blocks: point and click to add commands, drag to move them, allows variables, and nested loops. No C or Visual Basic (...) (27 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
