  Re: Gelukkig nieuwjaar

(27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.nl)

  Newbie with LDraw

Hi! :-) 1. I've built a model from other parts, including other half-finished models of my own. Now I find out that my DAT file makes reference to those and I cannot split them. I do I integrate the other models DATs into the finished model? 2. I (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Gelukkig nieuwjaar

(27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.nl)

  Re: Pneumatic Tanks

(...) This is a nice idea. One thought, though, is it really necessary to have two holes? I would think that one hole is enough if one use a T junction like this: air tank ___ (___) | compressor---+---application Or will this setup halt the air (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: AucZILLA IX

(...) If it helps, a local store has scads of the Time Cruiser thing on for about (educated guess) $50 Canadian. at one of the frequent 20% sales it would run about $20-25 US. (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

(most of) 1999 Adventurer's theme review

This isn't quite a full theme review, because I can't find either 5956 (the airship) or 5902 (raft). The airship I'm not expecting to be much of a loss, the raft I would like to see. But otherwise, I'm treating it as a theme review. Overall rating: (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.reviews)

Working around the 3 output limitation

Someone mentioned a few days back that for a mobile robot you need to use 2 outputs for the motors. I reckon you can get around that on the proviso that you *don't want to stop* one of the motors... Make your chassis like a car, with rack-and-pinion (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: LIC SW info

(...) It sounds like a good guess to me. Given the limitations you point out though, I would have probably chosen to get at least the front of the head right, and maybe made the part in gray rather than white to make up for the back being blank & to (...)   Re: Looking for mini figures

Pawel Nazarewicz wrote in message ... (...) They're probably still with you guys because they've only just been released in Europe. I'm not sure whether there'll be more for 2000 though... I like them. Their masks look like balaclavas so they make (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

  Pneumatics and MindStorms

Currently, I have the pneumatics from the Search Sub and planning to get more cylinders, tubing, and a compressor. Does anybody have ideas that they would like to share about implementing pneumatics into robots other than using it for claws/hands (I (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Mystery lighthouse model

On a flee market in the Netherlands I bought a huge model of a Lightouse. It was definitely no official LEGO model; my question is whether it was made by a hobbyist or by LEGO as a window display. It's a cylindrical structure, about 40 cm high, 20 (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: New pictures of 700, Potential challenge to big red

Not to start a "mine's bigger than yours" war or anything but... I built a UP EMD DDA40X a while back (which was, I believe, the longest loco ever built at 98'5") which was 70 studs long and could take turns (but with no articulation). Sadly, it has (...)
