Could it be that 8448 also had a problem with a copyright, like 8445(Indy Storm). After all, there is a magazine called Super Street, so Super Street Sensation would definately conflict. In my opinion, there are MOC's that are modeled on someoneelses ideas, like star wars models, corvettes and airplanes; then there are MOC's that are are models of your own ideas, the difference being that one is an exercise in rendering and one is a (...) (...) I doubt it. I just did a USPTO trademark search and diddn't find anything obvious for "Super Street". Also, the 8445 was actually recalled from all stores, the 8448 was still sold by TLC stores until supply ran out a few months ago. 8448 was (...) (26 years ago, 14-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

The 8448's are still selling pretty strong in Skandinavia... I saw them at Legoland Billund (Danmark) for about $60 USD, and they were selling like crazy. The 8445's are also still being sold in large quantities in Danmark and Sweden, but they're (...) (26 years ago, 14-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)
