  Re: Autonomous Robot

As a sensor, you could have the laser go into a large piece of quartz or some other rock. When these rocks are hit they make the whole rock glow very brightly, enough that a sensor could detect. You can get pieces for around $1 US, or you should be (...) (26 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Human brain to RCX...

There is even a much simpler way that works regardless of what type of camera you have. Take a look at VideoServer on an easy to use solution to this.   Knight's Kingdom Set 4807

Is this set only sold in Europe? It would be nice to have a cheaper set to beef up the Bull's army available in the U.S.. (26 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Racial politics in LEGO

Re: Forced refresh of html pages instead of getting them from browser cache

(...) I read somewhere that not all proxy caches will observe this. Actually I think it said they only look at the actual headers, not HTTP-EQUIV. It doesn't hurt to cover all bases. See my other post for details. KL (26 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.off-topic.geek)
