  Booth monitors (look and feel)

Tom McDonald reminds me of another point; When you are in the middle of a layout, folks presume that you are in charge...but when you are on the outside, it is easy for visitors to think other club members are 'just visitors' when we're all dressed (...)   RE: Booth monitors (look and feel)

Actually, John Neal ("J-2") ( johnneal@uswest.net ) is the GMLTC person to contact. He runs a tshirt screening business out of his home, and has contacts for embroidering shirts. He could probably give you estimated costs, timeframes, etc... I think (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: TLG Does Listen to us. (if not officaly)

(...) While that would be kinda neat, I hope they don't get too caught up in licensing other people's ideas, though. They'd be losing the LEGO 'brand' that they've been working hard to establish. I'd much rather see something they came up with on (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Where are the Neimoidians?... (SW:EpI villains)

(...) I lived in Japan for a year, full emersion, and am conversationally capable (not quite fluent) in the language, and I've been complemented often on my Japanese accent and a couple of times mistaken for a native speaker on the phone by native (...)   Re: My first time at LL Windsor!!

Cool, I have hol's coming up from Monday and hopefully I'll be able to go to LL Windsor for the first time. Just need to convince my fiancé...she's half-way there (she's got the car!). Andrew. (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.legoland.windsor, lugnet.general)

  RE: Autonomous Robot

I had a similar idea, but I was picturing a funnel-shaped mirror above a light sensor so that no matter what angle you hit it at the light is reflected down at the sensor. -----Original Message----- From: Ian Warfield [mailto:ipw47@hotmail.com] (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Where are the Neimoidians?... (SW:EpI villains)

(...) But in the story as it stands, there aren't many places for subtitles. Boss Nass could be a possibility, but I don't think the plot would have been better served by having JarJar speak in full Gungan with subtitling. Any inclusion of JarJar at (...)   Re: does anyone actually play this?...

(...) ...ahha :-) Rich was using this layout. I like it. The non-symetrical sides make for interesting approach, I would think. But there's no center attacker :-/ (I wish u could line up a small base on the midline of the side of a big base :-( (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: When we gonna BrikWar?

(...) This is really meant to augment the big get-togethers like the one you, quite graciously (although, that may apply more to Shelley :-), hosted. By all means, start a Cleveland area regular game. I would hope that you guys would do so. The big (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Dark Side Developer Kit

Does anyone own one of these yet? Can you provide details? - Is the MicroScout the same as the DDK? (Is the coloring the same?) - Any cool new parts? - Any news on programming the P mode yet? - Sean (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)
