  NEW Argos Catalouge

This is probably not thie first post about this toady but, what a let down. Apart from the few decent etchnic sets like the 8458, it looks like Argos has shifted over to Blockmen clones! Regards Jason (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: A mecha meeting

Awesome stuff Ken! Lots of examples of good color use. I also really enjoyed you very impressive freighter. Couple of questions; How many people participated in the event? Were they all from you local area? Is that yellow fluid beer? Sorry that's (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Major revision/expansion of my wantlist page

(...) changes (...) That was a mistake. For some reason I had fixed in my mind that the big three accessory packs were 3 bucks (3.25 in the old scheme) each. I lowered my price on bogie plates to USD 0.85. (when I order from S@H the shipping is (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  moving

I'm finally moving my site from Geocities ((URL) to terrashare.com (it'll take a couple of days but i'll get it on, (when finished it'll be on www.lml.terrashare.com but its not on properly) also trying to work on a new mecha (finally...)it'll have (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Can you a 5' credit card for me?

(...) You have to ask? Lego is Cool. :-) I heard from Betsy off line and they have located a group to do it for them I believe. I can't share the details because I don't know if they're secret or not, but she promised me that stuff would be posted (...)   Re: Major revision/expansion of my wantlist page

(...) Another factor here is reliability. If you start into a deal with Larry, he won't back out halfway through because he found someone else with a better deal (though I would expect him to still back out if the deal becomes a hassle in some way).   New Recon ship

I'm about 95% done with this model. I thought I'd take some pictures of it before I had to return the digital camera. The ship would be used as a transport, science ship, or recon ship. In its current form it is outfitted as a recon ship. The ship (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Major revision/expansion of my wantlist page

(...) That is true. I'll just buy them both! LOL. Law of averages. However Frank IS overpraising me here, I do need prodding, I have a tendency to forget about deals in progress. So if you're waiting for me to complete a deal, please bug me, I may (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Major revision/expansion of my wantlist page

(...) Wow! I sure appreciated all the goodies he threw into the box when I got my Shell sets, especially the copy of The Gate of the Present. I suspect LEGO is going to end up giving me the excuse to take a trip to europe. I haven't been since 1972 (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.fun)

  Re: which set?

Wow, I didn't know that verdigris was the word for it. I thought verdigris was the pearly grey stuff that came out of whales. See Moby Dick, where Herman Melville writes pages about it and what people will do to get it and what it feels like and (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.fun)

  RE: The Well traveled Maniac

G'day, I'm just thinking [It does occasionally happen] that it may be useful to give us an idea of exactly WHERE you'll be in Australia, so we can have some little chance of working out what we can arrange...Just because TLG treat us like an (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

I've resumed building after a short, involuntary, dark age!

As some of you may know, we bought a new house, but it's taking 5 months to build so we have to live in an apartment (1/2 the size of our previous house) for that period of time. I had thought I would have to go without LEGO during that time period, (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Major revision/expansion of my wantlist page

(...) Well, I consider Naboo Swamp is one of those "good" ones because it parts out so easily, whereas Speeder Bikes doesn't (lack of plates and bricks.) But any Star Wars set is a far above average part mine. (...) Yeah, I think so too. I have a (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
