The color is almost EXACTLY what it is supposed to be - weathered copper. It is a light-to-medium green with a slight grey tint to it. Just think of heavily weathered copper, and THAT is the color. I can't wait to buy several of this set for (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

Agreed. 739, with trays with lids, AND a lockdown bar to keep the trays in the PLASTIC housing, would get me buying a LOT of them. I currently only own one, as a curiousity.
