Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!!

I can't believe it. Kmart is clearing out Lego, right? Well I just scored 5 of 5988 for $20 each!!! I don't yet know what I am going to do with the parts, but it will be fun! Now if the other Kmarts have these at the same deal (or others) I'll (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: CWRU LEGO Robot Egg Hunt Competition (Sunday, 30 April 2000)

(...) I'll try to be there! And I'll be attending CWRU in the fall, just got the confirmation of my enrollment today. --Bram (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard, lugnet.loc.us.oh, lugnet.loc.us.oh.cle)

FA: Lots of old Train Parts

These are not my auctions, but I know the auctioneer. He is Frode Torske, the Norwegian Lego Train Nut. Some of you might remember him from the early days of r.t.l. Anyway, I recommend Frode as a good trader. I've done many trades with him. He is (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Cruise ship (Was: Sorry for this taking so long, but thanks for waiting!! (pictures are up!))

Fredrik: (...) Minifig scale, but with "selective compression". (...) It applies to non-technic models too, even though it probably isn't quite as difficult. (...) Mmmm. (yes) But <long complaint about juniorisation/> Play well, Jacob ---...--- -- (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.boats)

Evil King Ragnoth has risen to power... My web page

After a few days of work, I finally got the beginnings of a webpage up. This is my second one; the first dealing with lego. To view my page, go to www.geocities.com/xcalabur18 Inside you will find some of the major players in my castle world, my BST (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Cybermaster in the UK?

Can someone tell me if there are any shops around London where I could purchase the Cybermaster set. Also, what price should I expect? Thanks (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Divers set 6560 is great for castle parts!

(...) *smack forehead* How could I forget those!? Those are so cool! :) They look good with a Green Dragon, too! Now, if only we had green or Trans-Green wings... :) Jeff (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New Survey up for LEGO

I really think a UCS A-Wing would be great, and because of the size of the ship they could probably make the thing for $100. My choices were largely based on reality, I can easily imagine a UCS A-Wing or B-Wing or even AT-ST, but I cannot imagine a (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Unnamed Fighter

Don't you love it when people complement about stuff on your models that you didnt rlize you included/Didn't mean to include? And a pointer- Instead of saying "Oh, never thought of it like that", say "Yes, It took awhile to include that feature- I (...) (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: light green palm trees, flowers & plants

(...) 1998 sounds about right. I remember first seeing bright green in SYSTEM in the Halloween bucket and some FreeStyle sets. Many elements are switching over. Baseplates even. -Suz (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.belville)

  Re: Yards

Oh, and here's something I DON'T quite agree with (...) A lead track often runs down parallel to the main. It is usually connected to the main by a crossover that faces the opposite way you'd expect and is at the opposite end you'd expect Something (...)   Re: Yards

(...) "please" assumed since, after all, it's Jonathan we're dealing with. you need to avoid shorting. Standard ways, discussed here already: - Use a sticker to insulate - leave a gap of a stud between the tracks so they don't actually connect. (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: light green palm trees, flowers & plants

(...) Like which? The only that come to mind are Scala BPs, but I don't think that's what you mean... what sets had lt. green BPs? No, wait, I can think of some 8x16 lt. green BPs from freestyle sets. Are those the ones you're referring to? Any (...) (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.belville)

  Re: Docking fighter/shuttle

Awwweeeesssssooommmme!!!!!! I love it.
