  Ideas for I-DEAS?

Hi guys, Is there anyone who is familiar with I-DEAS package? I-DEAS is a very nice professional CAD software with very powerful surfacing features. I've just started using it and love it. If there would be any way to convert (one of) its output (...) (25 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Scans of 1960's ads

(...) Nice collection Jim. I too have the November 1962 Samsonite Saturday Evening Post ad. LEGO ads are a nice sub-topic of LEGO printed collectibles. Gary Istok (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

German Halftrack, Armored Car, etc. etc ...

Hi All, I just loaded a whole cartload of new pics onto (URL) . Included are pics of the following: Sd.kfz 222 German Armored Car (North Africa) and crew Sd.fkz 251 German Halftrack (North Africa) and crew, with Howitzer Willys MB Jeep (North (...)   Re: Minifig Box #2, another update

(...) Geez, and I even took *out* some Octan and Divers torsos. I almost took out the lone Technic fig that was in there, but I didn't want to take the last one. The Timmy torsos you could probably turn into a soccer team, and call it the Tornados (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: WTB: 1x2x2 Trans-Blue Thinwalls

Linsday- Are these the same as the windows in 4561 Railway Express? Are are you looking for darker blue? I'm about to part out several 4561's here. There are 1x2x2's in the cargo modules and 1x2x3's and 1x4x3's in the train cars. Regards, -Tommy (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Scans of 1960's ads

(...) Actually, the red rally car from 673 was one of my fav LEGO cars in my childhood: (URL) who complain about the level of juniorization of today's town cars: Look at this ad! Not only do these cars have no opening doors -- You can't even put a (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: FA: United Nations posters (set of 5)

Andreas- Did you inform those who are bidding that they can get these posters for free by just requesting them? Here is the link to order them: (URL) on the text link "here" about halfway down the page under the itaicised text that says: "Copies of (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Some ideas about grid mode and rotation

(...) That would be nice, *especially* if there is a button or context-menu function to reset the orientation of a part to <1,0,0,0,1,0,0,0,1>. Steve (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: LDraw DAT format standard questions

(...) The only document I'm aware of is the LDraw FAQ. There must have been something else, somewhere, because I'm sure I didn't figure it out on my own. But it might have been e-mail communication with James, or on the original L-CAD mailing list. (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Ideas for I-DEAS?

(...) It's been a couple of years since I touched the system. Does I-DEAS have the ability to export an .STL file? There is an .STL to .DAT translator out there somewhere, I just haven't had a chance to check it out yet. -Duane (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Scans of 1960's ads

(...) That has never bothered me. I think minifigs overall are the worst form of juniorization. I've always hated their foolish grin, yellow skin, and their stupid stud on top. My Lego people have always been invisible and they have no problem (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: German Halftrack, Armored Car, etc. etc ...

(...) These guys are really nice. Great use of the Naboo Guard torso and the Knight's Kingdom torso- I had written the latter of as only being good for heavily armored troops, so I'm impressed by how lightly-armored the bald Ranger looks.
