  Re: Znap popularity?

(...) Good idea, I'd be willing to buy up surplus Znap parts from motor collectors, I'd even be willing to pay a little for it (or maybe trade some new motors?). I'd hate to see it all go to waste. My theory is that just about any construction toy, (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.znap)

  Re: Question for eBay experts

(...) Hehe... just like the frog experiment that they mention in that volcano movie (1)... they say "if you put a frog in boiling water, the frog'll jump right out. But if you put the frog in cool water and warm them slowly, the frog will stay and (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Knight's armor

Right here! Those armor peices are a valuble part of my feudal min-fig militia. Ive only been collecting odly about 11-12 years (I'm 13 now). My focus on castle in the early ninties made me stop buying space altogether- so i got 2 to 3 of each black (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.castle)

Re: Have not bought any yet, until tomorrow...

(...) I'd say Znap would make good parts for a space station. There are lots of truss-like pieces which would look good as the framework. (...) Not quite so easily - there are no studs in Znap. You need technic type friction pins or cross axles (the (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.znap)

Re: Have not bought any yet, until tomorrow...

(...) Aye, they're great for a decorative touch in castles. Think a Roman Cathedral's interior roofwork. -Chris (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.znap)

  task switching strategy?

I've been wandering through the kernal comparing it to similar kernals I have known or written, trying to understand the design choices. It appears that task are only switched at the 1ms timer interrupt and at yield() function call. yield() is only (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Kevin Loch wrote in message ...>I see that Will Middelaer postet his pics too: (...) I only have the un-cropped, un-painted over version, which I will post.   Re: Knight's armor

(...) I bought several dozen of the Samurai Swordsman and other Ninja sets because of the removable armor they had. If the European armor came back into production I'd buy...well...I'd buy a whole lot more than that! J (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.castle)

  Soccer Buses

I called S@H today, and was told that all 4 soccer buses were listed as "Not in catalog" which is interesting considering that the S@H mini-catalog has the 3404 and 3407 as available in April. More TLG antics I suppose. The 3405 is supposed to be (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: the latest news

(...) Personally, I'd like to see all of the rarest pieces duplicated perfectly in enormous mass. My NLS is into Barbie Dolls. The gouging and fabricated-"rare" stuff is all over the place.   WTB: 1x2x2 Trans-Blue Thinwalls

Hi all, I'm looking for 1x2x2 or 1x2x3 thinwalls in trans-blue--these came in many Exploriens sets, and are currently found in Com-Link Cruiser and the new Arctic sets. (They also form the "x-ray" machine on many Divers sets.) I have plenty, but (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  FA: 1789 Star Hawk II

Set is opened, but the pieces still have the new piece glare. The set has the original polybags and instructions (in great condition), but the the box has taken some beating.   Re: L3P won't work on my computer

(...) to (...) should be no problem with the command line stuff. The only thing I can think of is that the set LDRAWDIR=(wherever ldraw is located) doesn't work. I put it in the autoexec, but still, l3p just shows the "help" message, or the commands (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Auctions cooling off?
