TRU buy one get a second at 50% off

The Toys 'R Us in my area (Sunnyvale, CA) is having a buy one get one at 50% off sale (lesser or equal value). I don't know if this is a chain-wide sale, or just a local store sale, but they had a pretty good selection when I went there today at (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: micro motor jam

(...) Yeah, I think they should be called planetary gears too, but I am just about as sure as you are... The gears are supposed to move in a certain fashion, but their fit is so loose that it is easy for the teeth of the gears to step on top of each (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Wanted - 8862 Instructions

I think this is going to be a hard find, but I have another 8862 (Combine / Harvester) that I want to make complete, and am looking for instruction scans in good to excellent conditions. Anyone? Thx, Dave (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Warning! This post praises MegaBloks...

I bought the Battleship too. Surprisingly (or not), it was missing 10 2x4 gray bricks. I also found that if you pushed the turret gun pieces through the back of the 'technic' 2-stud, it splits the brick (I was seeing if it would fit so as to be more (...)   Re: 8 Wide Dual Engine Shed

(...) Pretty basic, actually. I took a few more pics showing the doors and the other sides of the shed. At the suggestion of some off-line folk, I added a circular window in the front. I hope to locate some of those arches in red soon. (URL) (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

Are you selling these yet, James? I'll take a few... Randy :) -- Randy Anchikoski bigguy@teradesigns.tzo.com "James Powell" <wx732@freenet.victoria.bc.ca> wrote in message news:FstK28.4Ht@lugnet.com... (...) I (...) to (...) it is (...) to (...) (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: "Cobba" Mecha

(...) I gotta say, that was quite an experience--I hit the link and my senses were presented with what must be the oddest looking piece of mecha I've ever seen 'round these parts. The boat bow bricks really give it a surreal sort of angularity--when (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My NEW Lego site!

(...) Don't forget the Photon Torpedos that totally wreck a ship, with all the power of a hand gernade. (Ever seen Star Trek 5. "Fire a torpedo on my position." Then JUMPS out of the way.) Seriously though Star Trek weapons are junk. Those self (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 'Long nosed diesel'

Is it meant to be any particular class. It can't be a deltic or a 37, but the nose is very evocative of those designs. Nicholas Allan "Huw Millington" <hmillington@cix.co.uk> wrote in message news:Ft4JDA.2GE@lugnet.com... (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: MOC: 'Long nosed diesel'

(...) It looks like a Class 35 Hymek locomotive, maybe a Baby Deltic (now extinct). I really like the white poles on the doors - that's a new idea. It's not long enough for a Class 37 Growler - it's also not a Co-Co. I haven't looked at any Peaks (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)
