  What makes a minifig?

I am curious, as I don't have an extensive knowledge of LEGO. Sebulba is a "piece", and characters that are made of parts like Pit Droids or Gasgano are not minifigs. Could someone make sense of all of it? Tim (26 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: About HAndy board and PIC

Hi there Just saw your message and thought I could give you a few tips... I also live in SA and have built a HandyBoard. From my experience so far, a robot built around the HandyBoard is very easy to get going, has a wide range of posiblities and is (...) (26 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: 4 Wides!!

(...) No, I'm going to do my taxes;-) (...) Actually, at this scale, I think a plain ol' 1x1 and 1x2 clear bricks would make good passenger windows. And, for those portholes, a 1x1 or 1x2 technic brick would suffice. But Uncle Sam beckons... -John (...) (26 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) They're only a huge waste of points if you try to build something so strong it can't be blown up. We did that on purpose. To put something on the field that can't be blown up is a huge waste of everybody's time. It's fine in real life of (...) (26 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) I think this one came up a while ago...you might want to search the archives. Anyway, "If memory serves me correctly", here's what was generally agreed upon: Minifigs are made of minifig torsos, minifig heads, and minifig legs. Nobody argued (...)   Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) There was a big conversation about this a while back. What it all boils down to is personal judgement, really. In my view, Pit Droids aren't "minifigs", nor is Sebulba. It is tempting for me to say that what draws the line for me is legs and (...) (26 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: CO BrikWars get together

I guess my information is incorrect. I stand corrected. (...) 1) A large flyer can carry no more then 4 weapons. Is this 4 points worth of weapons? (1 MK 1 explosive is 4 points.) Or is it 4 weapons period? 2) Do cannons, machine guns, and lasers (...) (26 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

If stuff can go down with one lucky shot, the best building tactic would be to have a huge army of spread out [armed] minifigures. Question .... do minifigures have to be in (...)   Re: 8 Wide Dual Engine Shed

This is a very nice building. Woah! Lot's of windows. Wheh! What I really like are the track doors: The black arch piece attached to the top of the door looks good. I'd like to see a close-up of how the door is constructed and the black arch piece (...) (26 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Ah yes, the low sloped corner bricks, highly desireable in any color, rare in black, scarce in red and blue, and very very rare in yellow. Only came in one set in yellow that I am aware of. Mike, As the guy with only a handful of space guys, I have some questions about costing. If looked at practically, Castle-era guys are a lot weaker than TL4-5, like most of the field will be. As far as I can tell, the rules assume that all armies (...) (26 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Throwbots at Aldi's for $4.49

There were Throwbots for $4.49 Saturday at the Aldi in Central Point Shopping Center (Rte 63 and Mound St, Columbus OH USA). I saw Torch, Turbo, and Ski, but did not dig to see if there were others. They were up by the cash registers. I didn't get (...) (26 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

(...) I tried some of that. I think that GR wore gloves, though, didn't he? I used black hands. I also tried sticking the flame element in the top of the skull, but thought it looked kinda wussy for GR. :D I tried to puzzle out a way to attatch them (...)
