Re: KB Kids Sale? Not quite?

(...) True, but with 20% off they end up lower than retail price. This is especially true on clearenced sets, like the divers that are already 50% off, plus an additional 20%, ends up to be very cheap (e.g. $23 for 6441, original retail ~$60) -Shiri (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: anyone want 12v track

Just a side note, not really related to this post. I was caught buying 12v stuff a few weeks ago. It was described as "rails", I bought quite a pile of it.... it turns out that rails a the metal conductor strips. My own stupid fault I suppose. Scott (...)   Tuk-Tuk. Three wheeled motorized taxicab, at BrickShelf

Fredrik, great job (as usual) on the Tuk-Tuk! (URL) heading is kind of deceiving--the real thing is motorized, but not this mode, right? :) --Bram (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Propellors on plane at Brickshelf

George, How did you create the great propellor effect in this rendering? (URL) stranded minifig is a nice touch. Is the hair from some other LEGO POV library?) --Bram (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Women's Soccer

Dear Lego, My 10 year old daughter has today become the proud and happy owner of set #3401. I see it as the first of many of this theme we are destined to buy. She has been playing with it for the last 5 hrs. Thanks for the extra ball. Women's (...) (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego) !

Re: Practicality of X.com "auciton" CC payments for "straight sales"...?

Chris, I accept payment from both x.com and paypal.com for sales from my store site. This is not automated as you suggest, and I don't even send a request for payment from either of the sites. What I do is have the orders submitted through e-mail, (...) (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: TRU cupon

In the two stores I've been in, it didn't recognize the connection between the set and the coupon either, but the store honored it anyway and even for multiple units (the coupon is worded so that it's supposed to be $10 off the total, but the fine (...)   Re: NQC Ignores based on your pbrink

(...) Yes, I agree with the approach to using __RCX for conditional compile - that's really why its there. I had thought about adding some of the functions (SetSensor() etc.) as no-ops in the Scout API, but this really didn't feel right to me. I (...) (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

(...) Hey Shiri, great job. I've been waiting to see the completed inn for a while now. I , like everyone else, also like the single, angled doors to the rooms. I don't think I've ever tried that. The teaser's pretty cool too, I like Jon. He looks (...) (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: location of NQC group?
