  Re: Signature Characters

(...) I kinda figured that. Actualy iwas wondering why each of you personaly chose your characters. For example I'm leaning heavily towards a character i like to call Acer. Hes not realy very important although he is the caretaker of the royal (...) (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle.org)

  Re: NQC on Linux dilema...

(...) This is very strange. Communication looks perfectly normal. I can't think of any reason for a hang. Is it possible for you to build nqc from source? If so, we can instrument any calls to the serial driver and determine if the driver is hanging (...) (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: NQC and RIS2.0 Firmware

(...) I've been looking at that for most of today. The 2489 is basically the last packet to go to the RCX, and the error is a "checksum error" coming back from the RCX. As far as I can tell, nqc breaks with any firmware file bigger than 20K (...) (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

(...) Yep, I was quite starttled to find it was 12:30 am when I got home! So, what castle stuff are we hgonna build for next time? I'm thinking about a water mill... Kevin (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: RIS 2.0 PreAlpha SDK

(...) Check out page 7 of the LASM Byte Codes doc. They've added a lot more data "sources" including one for the battery level. This means you'll be able to use the battery level the same way you currently can read Timers, the Watch, etc. Too bad (...) (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Fun?? at the TRU website

So I'm scanning the TRU website to see if they have any ZNAP posted... and I run across this little gem (view all lego, turn graphics off, page 1) "LEGO Rock Raiders was 30.00 NOW 29.99" Gee, a whole penny! Still looking for ZNAP, I scroll to page 3 (...) (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Thanks! (...) I wish...(well, not really. The only thing I could build with pink bricks is Cadillacs :) They really can't be any other color...) You'll notice that the MPD file is in the colors I actually built the model--white. --Bram (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: NQC and RIS2.0 Firmware

(...) I found the problem... When verifying the checksum, the ROM scans [8000, cc00). Since it zeros out this area initially, this would indeed reflect the checksum of the firmware, provided it is less than 4400 bytes long (in hex). NQC sums the (...)   Re: German Half Tread

I am making my own World War II-era German vehicle. Mine, however, is the Hanomag Sdkfz251. (The half-tread.) I trust you are familiar with the vehicle? I need some help.   Dinsmore Compass interface

I've read a lot of discussion about compass sensors ranging over almost two years and as of yet have heard a success story. I've reached the point I'd like my RCX to be able to accurately do two things: 1) be able to follow a sequence (...) (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)
