  Re: FA : Lego

(...) Is there any way to stop a URL from breaking up like that from the web-interface? I've tried encapsulating them in <>, but that didn't seem to work :/ Richard (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

(...) Ahh, you're using the wrong search, you need to search for "model team" at kbkids.com... Still $39.95. I think as long as an item is on their web page, they have them available. Frank (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

matching motor speeds on mutli-motor trains

Today, when my green trolley rearended my red trolley I decided to test my motors. I ranked them in order of speed. Then I thought that it would be bad to have a fast motor paired with a slow motor. I thought that pairing motors with dissimilar (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

Lar, When I read your comment I jumped up to check it out. The center slider[1] evolved from an unattached wheelset, which is why it had to be in the center. When you said end slider I thought, "Power for my SD40!" I did not try to make it, but (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Well, yes. Don't break the line when pasting it in. If the URL is more than 80 contiguous non-space characters in your clipboard, and you paste it into the text area box, and your browser causes the line to split (it _shouldn't_!), then that (...)   Wal-mart website sale

Hi all, This may be old news but Wal-Mart has a few sets on their website at discounted prices you won't find in the stores. The best deal is for the "Mummy's Tomb," set #5958, 253 pieces. They're selling it for $10, retail $29.97. They also have (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Methinks he doth protest too much! A tad touchy about this subject aren't you, Larry? I label myself the "lego curmudgeon" which is intended to suggest that my incendiary mode of expression is half jest/whole earnest -- but not to be taken too (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Need gear ID

Hey all, Here's a strange one I haven't seen before. It's a white gear about 3x3 with a dark gray hub in the center that would fit an axle. It has numbers on one side "2.5-5.0 Ncm." Any ideas? I've inserted an axle through the center but the hub (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)
