  Great 3/35 meeting

Henry and Rick, thanks for making the meeting so much fun for me. I eagerly await our next meeting in May, and encourage others in the Los Angeles area to join us. Great creations, idea exchanges, and parts trades were had by all. I promise not to (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.la)

(...) You order spare parts like that from s&h I believe. The s&h catalog should list the stuff that is available. -- Jonathan Wilson wilsonj@xoommail.com (URL) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Dannon/Lego promotion

(...) Actually saw this at the grocery store today. The yogurt six-pack has a special Lego sticker/booklet on it. We bought a pack because we needed yogurt for our son, anyway. But, we haven't won anything yet :(. Tx, +Z+ (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) and I don't. I guess I'm rather put off by this attitude. Economic reality is what it is and your wishing that TLC cared about us to the point that they lose money isn't going to change that. And I'm tired of you whining about it. That's (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) I don't think that both sides in this debate are essentially disagreeing, just stating (seemingly) incompatible ideas. That is, I agree with both sides to some extent - I would like to see a "fair" distribution of LEGO, but I don't think there (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Doh!

3/35? 35 days in March? Or was that a slip of the finger? 3/25 is the proper title....sorry about that. (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.la)

Re: 5542 Black Thunder (no doors no windows)

(...) Ahh, you're using the wrong search, you need to search for "model team" at kbkids.com... Still $39.95. I think as long as an item is on their web page, they have them available. Frank (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

matching motor speeds on mutli-motor trains

Today, when my green trolley rearended my red trolley I decided to test my motors. I ranked them in order of speed. Then I thought that it would be bad to have a fast motor paired with a slow motor. I thought that pairing motors with dissimilar (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

Lar, When I read your comment I jumped up to check it out. The center slider[1] evolved from an unattached wheelset, which is why it had to be in the center. When you said end slider I thought, "Power for my SD40!" I did not try to make it, but (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Wal-mart website sale

Hi all, This may be old news but Wal-Mart has a few sets on their website at discounted prices you won't find in the stores. The best deal is for the "Mummy's Tomb," set #5958, 253 pieces. They're selling it for $10, retail $29.97. They also have (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
