Re: News article about Imagination Centers

(...) Yah. The place (WEM) is a pit, IMHO, but it qualifies as a tourist attraction, and does pull in tourist $$. If Canada gets 1 LIC, I'd say about even odds for Toronto or Edmonton; if we get two, it'll be Toronto and Vancouver; if three, then (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: News article about Imagination Centers

(...) I wouldn't mind, but three is enough if you ask me. However, Florida (as well as California and a few other states) seems to break the rules a lot when it comes to stores. In Florida, FAO is not a specialty shop, but a chain with two stores (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: (Movie) Mission to Mars

I saw it with two friends (who happen to be professional [and _published_] Sci- Fi writers), and we ragged on the movie the entire way through. (We saw it at a local brew/bar-theatre, so that didn't help any.) Most of the people around us were (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Villiager Mini-Figs?

(...) BTW, I'd suggest you (and anyone else out there) to add a link from your side pages to the main page. That way, people who are referred to a side page can see the rest of the site. I do that, and it ups the counter too, because the people (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.publish)

  Polybag Heaven

I was the FAO at the Aventura Mall in Miami with my friends this past Saturday. I always find something new (or should I say old?) there. And this time I found a HUGE stash of old polybag sets. There was Town, Dragon Masters, Royal Knights, Spyrius, (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Wow. I've never found anything worthful in any FAO, sounds like you got really lucky... FAOs are usually extremely over-priced, I sometimes browse there but I was amazed to discover that their prices are higher than the lego S@H prices (that (...) (...) I think 6-wide makes much more impressive trucks. You can always make doors out of plates, using a few <part:2540 1x2 plates w/ handle> and <part:4085 plate 1x1 w/ vert. clip> to create hinges.
