Does anyone knopw if the robotic competition aka FIRST Lego League is strictly a US affair or if there are (or it is possible to set up) local competitions in other countries? I wonder if I am the only one who rolls my eyes when I read eBay advertising posts which read something like "price still only $x... or 40% of retail cost... and 3 days to go". Lego Gods don't strike me down but... there's a few motorized and non-motorized sets up for auction. they tend to go cheaper than Legos since their not as versatile. but have their uses. i bid on too many and am afraid i'll get stuck with them (...) (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)
