Re: Future of LEGO Trains ? was Re: Model Railroad Scenery

Ah. (...) Right. Make that square opening thing into a separate brick. If you widen the nose you can leave it centered. (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Is it possible to have too much LEGO?

(...) Boy do I know that feeling... That's what's behind my buying habits. Fortuanately, setwise, I'm reaching the point of having much of what I want. I've got almost all the pirate stuff, in plenty of quantity, I've got most of the castle stuff I (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Pure theory on castle auction ...

I think Pawel worded his post rather poorly. one could read it as he is plugging his auction here on .theory. But if one examines the listing, one discovers that he's plugging *Castle World* via an auction. Pawel, you need to be MUCH more careful in (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: Who has a space base?

(...) I'm not sure if you're looking for single building bases or accumulations of sets. Mine's pretty much 'out of the box' then slung onto some baseplates, but I like having it set up; I'm moving soon though so I took some pictures, and if you're (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.space)

  Lego Dacta Wall Wart

Got my Pitsco order today. The Lego Dacta power cube, wall wart, had the Lego logo on it and said Lego Dacta on it several places. It had a warning tag on the wire showing it was not for tape recorders etc. It was marked 12 VAC 7VA output It was (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Future of LEGO Trains ? was Re: Model Railroad Scenery

(...) I think Mike has gotten to the crux of the problem. All the issues brought up are merely technical puzzles to solve. Personally, my investment in my 5 trains and assorted train items wouldn't hold me back from 8 wide. Again, I think if TLC is (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Is it possible to have too much LEGO?

Here's what I do, not as a law, but as a rule of thumb. I decide what it is I really want before hand. I avoid impulsive shopping unless I see a clearance that's really cool. My next lego set is the River Expedition from the Adventure series. I know (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

  All of those minifigs

What do you all do with the Adventurers minifigs you accumulate after buying a few sets? I find the models to be fairly interesting (mainly the Egyptian theme), and buy the sets based on the models. However, I now have a bunch of minifigs that I (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)
