Shell promo sets coming to the U.S.!

Today was Chinese New Year and over here they had a parade and a street fair. One of the booths at the fair was Shell Oil (they also had a float). It was a free game for the kids in which they try to buckle seat belts mounted on a board of painted (...) (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.promo, lugnet.general)

Re: Usefull little feature idea for Ldite [was: Re: Help with LDLite]

I have written a straight-to-QuickTime converter for DAT files. I don't know about making a QTVR file, but, it makes a 3DMF file which you convert in 1 step to a MOOV. The movie rotates the model in realtime in any QuickTime player. I am pretty (...) (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Should I have left Neg Feedback?

(...) I think you have done the right thing. However if you really care about your own feedback and want it to stay stainless, you probably shouldn't. That is because some people will get pissed when you leave them negative feedback and in turn (...) (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: HandyBoard multi-process syncs..

(...) In REAL C the right way to handle that would be to declare the variable volatile, eg: volatile int mutex; and that forces the compiler to always use the in-memory copy. I don't know if that exists in IC, but if not I bet all variables are (...) (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Alarming Tesco Prices!

Went into Tesco on Friday, to purchase some milk for my tea. I always make a point of walking by the toy section, if only to see if there are any price changes on the SW Lego, as these don't really seam to go anywhere. Shock, horror, imagine the (...) (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Alarming Tesco Prices!

I visited my local Tesco a couple of weeks ago, and one or two of the sets had been reduced; the Ninja solider on horseback was reduced by about 25%, and the SpacePort Satellite had also been reduced by a similar amount. Not enough to persuade me, (...) (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

(...) I try to make it look real not only with details but the photos. I like to view the spaceships from low perspective angles which makes a reality of big scales. Ken takeuchi (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.modelteam)

Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

(...) It may be great if we could share the models in 3D data virtual world. They are the mini-mini sized version of #0020 Defensive fighter ready to take off at the catapult lane. The ship was scaled after the size of this fighter. Ken Takeuchi (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)
