While it's great that there is a place to organise building contests, it does
kinda preclude the possibility of having another more general group to discuss
and announce other types of contests. Eg
<http://www.lugnet.com/admin/general/?n=4185>.

Does this mean that other types of contest are inappropriate for LUGNET?

While I've been completely happy with the winners of the contests that I've
held in market.sell-by-trade and fun.community, they recieved 5 and 3 entries
each which suggests that although there are people happy to enter contests,
it's difficult to match them with people who want to hold them. Especially as
the three entries I recieved for the fun.community contest were within hours of
each other - I'd explain this by people using the '20 more' link on the front
page, and stumbling onto the announcement by accident.
