  Re: PC -RCX comunication

(...) please, don't take my little attacks against MS too serious, it's just -- i really dislike their FUD way of making business, and i like to have a choice. However, i feel we shouldn't discuss this too much in this place. (...) Well, imho the (...) (26 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: 4811 Defense Archer?

(...) I dunno if they have a special deal, because I've seen the 4811s at other places here in MA as well...(Ames maybe?) I think that a lot of big chain stores don't order the polybag stuff right away, and soem don't order them at all. (...) Well, (...) (26 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: 9376 - is it worth it?

(...) There's a review at my website! (plug plug) Short version is, it's pretty good for the money, even better if you can snag it at a sale price. It doesn't build a whole lot by itself and some of the pieces are real puzzlers but if you already (...) (26 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Auction Stats!

(...) Perhaps because they don't come in many low-end sets? There was also a really cool robot designed using three of these, which would be the main reason why I would want three of them! (...) Richard (26 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: New LeoCAD version

(...) That's a bug, I'll fix it. Do you know how to find out if a key is pressed ? :) (...) You shouldn't use the Mesa beta versions they are very buggy and 3.1 already has an official version, you should upgrade. (...) Please send me the errors, it (...)   Re: Watch those package seals!

(...) Very sad. Maybe we AFOL's could chime in and offer to buy up the sets that are ripped up. Might be a good way to get some decent parts, if the price is right. Scott S. ___...___ Scott E.   Re: Is this enough to start a minifig box?

(...) I don't think we should require this box to contain only complete minifigs, nor for people to leave the fig intact if, for example, they only need the torso. My experience with s/h minifigs is that they are rarely in the original (...) (26 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: ldglite (ldlite for OpenGL and Linux) new stuff

(...) I believe that all new computers have 3D cards and the current format of the library is very easy to use but it's not good for hardware acceleration. (...) Hmm... :pserver:guest@gerf....r/cvsroot, pw = guest. :) Leonardo (26 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Basement water alarm

Do you mean that my alarm clock follows the 60 Hz carrier? That confuses me-- I once programmed my Timex/Sinclair Z80 to be a clock based on the power line carrier. It kept terrible time. I assumed it was because of the inaccuracy of the carrier. (...) (26 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: ldglite (ldlite for OpenGL and Linux) new stuff

(...) Cool! That is my long term goal with LDraw-mode, too. I'm hoping to be able to make Emacs/LDraw-mode communicate (over X?) with some CAD system. That will give me the power and flexibility of Emacs combined with the joy of the LDraw format. (...) (26 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Take a look at my previous post, LeoCAD is GPL.
