  Re: Colors for pneumatic cylinder

(...) Thanks a lot for the above, for a minute I was quite lost, but offcourse, it can't be any other way (the structure, not me being lost:)). I would argue that a new primitive would be handy here, the "connector" for the tubes, since it is (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  LNP Addressing Schemes

I have the basic Linux<->RCX Infra-red comms. working using lnp calls on the RCX and Martin Cornelius' lnpd on the Linux end. I have a few questions about this: Addressing: . How does the addressing scheme work? . Can a RCX address more than one (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Is this enough to start a minifig box?

There is a slight flaw in my plan to start a minifig box: I forgot that I had a major purge last year and auctioned off most my spare figures :-( Anyway, I had a rummage through the spares box and came up with this lot, which is more minifig parts, (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Lego RCX Challenge

Re: what (who?) was the first artculated mini-fig?

Actually, the first minifigs were released in 1977 with set number 575 Coast Guard Station, which is the US release of set 369 Coastguard, which did not have true minifigs, but the legless/armless/expressionless ProtoFig. Released concurrently were (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.faq)

Re: I have a solution for freeing motor ports

Sorry if I'm a little late getting to this thread - It's possible to approach this problem mechanically. I used a gear - switching setup similar to the shuttle / the supercar to enable four motor outputs, two at a time. To do this, I ran the output (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Why Not...?

The easiest way to do it is to simply order an element, and receive some arbitrary quantity (i.e. a "box" or "bag" full). That quantity might vary from part to part but would be consistent on a per part basis. That would be by far the most efficient (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: what (who?) was the first artculated mini-fig?

Not according to the LUGNET database. But I'll be the first to admit that that was my only source. At any rate, those *are* the first sets to include minifigs. If it was 1977 or 78 when they were released is still up for debate. So to answer the (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.faq)
