  PCS Magnolia

With the continuing success of PCS forces, I've been asked to step in and regulate the ever-increasing amount of civilian traffic. Meet my ship, the Magnolia! Ain't she a beaut? (URL) More pictures of her can be seen after declassification at (URL) (...) (20 years ago, 17-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

  Re: PCS Magnolia

Yee-haw. That thar is one purdy piece of PCS, pardner. Kudos on the swoosh-factor. It's just so slick! As for the interior, I'll let you know what i think when I figure out what's going on (it couldn't be SNOT cabinetry...?) The hood ornament and (...)   Re: PCS Magnolia

(...) Excellent ship! My favorite parts are the 2X2X2 clear slopes as windows and the white minifig legs just past the X-pod part. Nice SNOT work all over. (20 years ago, 18-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: PCS Magnolia

(...) Wow Spammy!!!!!! That is one fine vessel, I think the "Flying" General Lee and the "boys" are going to have some fine trouble laying low with something like that on their tails. The design is complex (very snotty) and pulls off these seemingly (...) (20 years ago, 18-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: PCS Magnolia

(...) The only (visual) problem I have with it is the square-y (word?) blockiness of the opening around the pod. The other problem with it is, that now that I've seen it, I just can't sit down and try to build a spaceship of my own. I don't have the (...)   Re: PCS Magnolia

(...) This was the toughest thing about the design. I didn't try to fight it (much). I wanted to have wide viewports on the sides and yet have the pod/bubble be low profile, which meant it had to be lowered and look sealed onto the ship. Using (...)   Re: PCS Magnolia

(...) Very nice ship. The interior is crazy. Enough about the ship, the coolest part is Boss Swine. That's an amazing fig right there, great head and torso, and single-handedly the most amazingest boots ever. ~Kevoh PS. Amazingest is a perfectly (...)   Interior Detail for Magnolia

(...) For those so inclined, check out labeled details of the interior here: (URL) (...) Yes :-) (20 years ago, 18-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) Hrmm ... I actually signed up for a Flikr account, but it wouldn't let me add my own (sarcastic) note to the photo :-( -Tim (20 years ago, 18-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Interior Detail for Magnolia

(...) Sadly, Tom set it so that, for this specific picture, comments would not be allowed :-( ~Kevoh PS: I am pretty sure Tom misinterpreted what OtherKevin was saying. (20 years ago, 18-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) I set it so that any Flickr user can comment, but not add notes. Sarcastic comments are fine :-) (20 years ago, 18-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

It's like a perfect piece of spaceworthy, blueberry-striped vanilla ice cream. Bravissimo!!! (20 years ago, 19-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Who's this? (URL) Could it be Shania *Train*, caught in Boss Swine's Celebrity Speed Trap? Love the boots. Those also come in tan and glow in the dark, don't they? Groovy cruiser, Tom. -Teddy (20 years ago, 20-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: PCS Magnolia

Tom, this is teh cool! I can see how some might not agree with the use of X-Pod here, but i think you incorporated it very well. Some clean and creative snot here, I like the use of those hollow 2x2x2 slopes. A very curvy and sleek craft that fits (...) (20 years ago, 20-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: PCS Magnolia

(...) Very sleek! Great use of slops and stripes. I don't like the horns on the nose, though... I realise it's the concept, I just think it detracts from the sleekness. Your call, of course. Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)
