Argh!!!
When I posted the above, I had only looked in the polybag. Now that I have
built the set I have discovered that the brown beards are not moulded properly
and prevents the head from sitting as low as it should on the neck.
So, while the head goes on enough to hold it on, the head is sitting too high
and you can still see the mouth above the beard, so you can have the full beard
without the moustache look, but not the full moustache-and-beard look.
This Shifty stuff is really a lucky dip on quality. Some things are fine,
others not.

Well, to my mind the HP sets had a similar problem with the bearded guy whose face was misprinted such that even though the minihead will sit lower (or correctly), you have to raise it up so that the glasses do not appear to be located beneath (...) | One of the Shifty sets is a copy of Lego's 1932 Wizard's Cart (URL) so you would think if you saw the box featuring a blue wizard with white beard pulling a cart.
