Hi all, I am starting on a mosaic project for my kids school. I want to take the schools logo and create a large mosaic out of it. As for the colours, I did spend a bit of time laying them out, colour wheel fashion, but with so many interior squares I did have to "mix it up a little". Also great way to use up those colours (...) I just got confirmation from someone in sales at LLCA that the mosaic programmed has indeed been discontinued. The park would like to keep offering mosaics, but needs to arrange a supply source (I suppose the 90 element bags were unique to mosaics). (...) Within 4 hours of downloading his program, I had completed my first mosaic - a 48 x 64 stud portrait of Scooby-Doo. I know that my mosaic is far (...) I was messing around with some (URL) macaroni bricks> the other night and made a cool pattern, but I didn't have enough bricks to fully flesh it out, so I fired up ldraw. (...) As I said before, that was 90% of the work... creating a palette of LEGO colors that were exact. A lot of trial-and-error was involved.
