Way cool. S
o are you going to adopt the MONON logo for your fallen flag club tribute
logo? it only makes sense, after all. the Monon was the most storied Indiana
based road there was. (although IHB - Indiana Harbor Belt holds a special
place for some, it's more of a Chicago area terminal road)

Monon did some very nice cream and red coaches when they entered the
streamliner era... they were kitbashed from hospital cars!

Yep, John Neal already mocked up some logos for us. We are going to use the
top right one:

LOL! I knew that, but I had never thought about it in those terms.

Cool, what's the deeplink (ends in jpg or gif or whatever instead of a number)?

I just got the classic streamliners special publication from Kalmbach and
was trying to get my money's worth! (actually it was a great read)...

Here is the setup information that you need:
Location
--------
Blue Ribbon Pavilion and East Hall
Friday
------
Setup is 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm. They boot you out at 9pm.
Saturday
--------
Setup: 7:00 am - 9:30 am
Show Open: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
They expect you to leave immediately at 5:00 pm.
Sunday
------
Building opens at 10:00 am
Show Open: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Teardown: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Teardown cannot start before 5:00 pm
I have two "Exhibitor Parking Passes" that they sent me. I'm not sure what
the parking situation is like, but my guess is that exhibitors can park
closer than everyone else.
I work downtown and can get there fairly easily on Friday. Let me know what
time you (all) are planning to arrive on Friday and I will be there with the
permits. We'll also get our show passes on Friday during setup, which will
let you in for free. We should probably leave one or two at the exhibit so
that people leaving to get food can take one and get back in. We'll see how
it goes...it's been a while since I've done a GATS show.
If you need anything or want to get in touch with me, my universal number is
(866) 891-5085. When the system answers, say "find him" and it will connect
to me.

Lots of interesting touches for a small layout! An elevated loop with
connector, bridge over a river, bridge over open space, etc... should be
cool. Can hardly wait for pics. Good luck!

I have to agree with Larry hear, it looks very Promising. I look forward to
seeing the show photos.

I have to wait for a ride on Friday and don't expect to be there until 7:00
p.m. at the earliest. On Saturday I will be there for setup on Saturday
morning from 7:00-9:30. I may stay for half an hour after the show starts to
take pictures. On Sunday I will be there from 12:30 to the end.

Friday arrive 3:00-3:30pm, leave 7:00pm
Saturday arrive 10:00am (will they let me in after the official setup time?),
leave 4:00pm +/- 2 hrs.
Sunday won't be there.
Leah, I could come through Greenwood and pick you up on Friday if you like.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll be at the IUPUI campus not at home.

I plan to drive down Friday afternoon, probably arriving between 5 and 6.
I was planning to be there all day Saturday and after about 2 on Sunday.
Maybe less time, if it' s not necessary.
It would be nice if someone who will be there when I arrive on Friday
could send me a mobile phone number. I would like to stop outside the
display area and unload my van before parking, but there probably won't be
a place where I can leave it unattended, so I'll have to call in for
people to come out and unload/guard/transport the contents of the van.
