  Thank you Mathew Gerber

While working night shift things get slow, So I start poking around the Web to see how far my name has managed to infiltrate the internet. When I came across this page created by Mathew Gerber: (URL) did'nt realize he has made this page and I am (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.general)

Re: More POOPs and licenses (Galidor)

(...) I think more important is the first bit from the quote, which says that LEGO owns all merchandising rights. Any company that wants to make Galidor toys, has to get a license from Lego. Which means that Lego is on the upstream side of any (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: 2002 catalog scans at FBTB

(...) Oooo...ooo!!!...!!! Okay, I have to accept that the classic Town, Space, Castle & Pirate division of product has long since changed. They are still around from the old Shop @ Home occasionally, but TLC did a NICE job on the new Alpha Team (...) (23 years ago, 5-Nov-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: More POOPs and licenses (Galidor)

(...) I think this means they have most major toy categories locked up (including the "action figure" segment). On the one hand, it means they will be able to stand out better (unlike the Bob the Builder sets, as I mentioned previously), but on the (...) (23 years ago, 2-Nov-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: More POOPs and licenses (Galidor)

(...) I don't know if this answers the issue as for Galidor, but here is a little more info... (URL) the article: "As merchandising rights owner, Lego holds master toy and software licenses and is currently negotiating with licensing agents. The (...) (23 years ago, 2-Nov-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: 2002 catalog scans at FBTB

Actually, that big Alpha Team base looks like it has potential to be really nice. Everything else looks pretty terrible...yeah, it's nice to get some of those SW figs in smaller sets, but can you actually build anything with any of them? Sheesh. Lou (...)   Re: 2002 catalog scans at FBTB

I am somewhat disappointed by the Cloud Car. It looks like it is indeed all in one color, but I can't tell if it is original red or a new shade. The major disappointment to me is that they do not have enclosed cockpits. It appears the Cloud Car (...) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: 2002 catalog scans at FBTB

(...) As far as it goes, I think the Droidekas are quite pathetic. However grey battle droids will be nice for a change. Yes, I totally agree that those of us who are not Harry Potter Fans are suffering-hopefully temporarily! (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: More POOPs and licenses (was Re: 2002 catalog scans at FBTB)

(...) Yep, I remember that as well. Guess all the critics that this was the thin edge of a wedge were right after all. (...) Completely agreed on the risk. What a crock. I think the Bob sets will be a failure (or passable success) for the simple (...) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: 2002 set list on FBTB!
