I don't really mind what the models are, as long as they include lots of "standard" technic pieces. The latest sets seem to be heading away from the good, useful, mechanical stuff, and heading more towards looks - I just want more technic beams! (...) Yeah, I think you've misunderstood just a bit. I personally think it's a great idea. Why? Well, to be honest I wouldn't use it myself, but I don't think it'll replace the new sets. One thing to consider is to look what is happening to the 'e-business' companies such as Amazon.com and Etoys.com. They are not making any $$. It isn't/won't. TLC will always design sets - heck, the have the SW license through 2007! The new software will be a supplement product, like Mosaic.
