So much for my hopes for a decent new model this year. Is this the way to go Lego? Re-issue a set in different colours? Until I saw the pics (is that a slightly different rear wing there?) This is great news! So far it was looking like it was going to a sad year for Technic (OK, so call me a Bionicle Burner -just hate those sets) but this has helped me revive my spirits for 2K2. Would be kind of nice to see Lego get together w/ (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2002)

(...) Those "crazy curved pieces" are mateable with the new slope system, and what's better, they include *half canopy* slopes--I just wish they were in greys, not blue and green. Hmmm, am I alone in thinking that there are some really great new sets coming out this year? I just spent a little while checking out Jengo Fett's Slave I on at (URL) and I'm really impressed! I'm really enjoying the 2002 Racers series. Cheap fun! And there are actually six different types of pull-back motors, each with different torque & acceleration characteristics.
