Those ol' Lego Star Wars problems...

The Lego StarWars sets came out at my 11th birthday time, so I got all the sets with my birthday money and stuff. The problem was that I didn't have stuff like a Lego Chewbacca or Imperial Shuttles to complete my collection. I cut up pieces, painted (...) (25 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.year.2001)

(...) I disagree, put that head on a figure with overalls and give it a cowboy hat or brimmed adventurer hat. I think it makes a perfect hayseed/hick for Hatfield/McCoy fued'n. Tim (26 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: LEGO 2001

(...) Well, I guess that's something. Still, if I want to make an insane Air Traffic Controller, I know which sets to buy. eric (26 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: LEGO 2001

(...) My vote for that title goes to Willa the Witch, in the Fright Knights line. Not only is she stupid-looking (and not actually scary in the least), but the head is *completely useless* as anything but a witch. Or someone dressed as a witch. Ugh. (...)   Re: TIE fighter stand?

(...) I saw this on FBTB as well. Kind of interesting because the actual TIE Fighter is supposed to be able to "stand" on its wings (though the Empire is against it because it allows for independence) and the way TIE fighters are stored is by being (...)   TIE fighter stand?

If you look ((URL) beneath the TIE right next to the Stormtrooper there is what looks like one of the new girder pieces first spotted in the MovieMaker Set (1349). I saw this but assumed it was just part of the background. However, according to FBTB (...) (26 years ago, 29-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2001)

Re: What is with the Technic Stormtrooper?

(...) Vanishing from technic since at least 1996. It's okay, in my mind, as long as it all remains compatible. Duplo -> System -> Technic. (And -> Znap, but that's not exactly the same progression.) (...) True, true (like in the Wassup ad) There are several problems that now plagues the Technic Sets (yes I am a fan and yes I will own those two). First: where are the studs?
