  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

(...) The hands in the cockpit do indeed look yellow, but I'd bet real money (if I had any) that the fig in the cockpit is a classic smiley, not Palp's scowling face. And he's wearing a hat, not a hood. It's not Palp. (26 years ago, 28-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2001)

(...) drop (...) blew (...) any (...) column (...) Speaking of mistakes, almost every page of the latest S@H catalogue has pictures of sets where they forgot to cut the original photograph background out of windows and other spaces when compositing (...)   Re: Sorting the new Subthemes

(...) I hope not. I'd like to see it tie in with last year's Space Port stuff -- that seems very natural. I'm surprised they gave it different number. I guess I'll have to buy a lot. :) (...) This seems to be something like Rock Raiders -- a (...) (26 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.year.2001)

rare colours in: Life on Mars

Hi Paul, (...) From what I can see this "pink" is not from the Belville or Paradisa line (and I own a lot of these). Instead, my guess is that it's one of the 'unpink' light red Scala colours that were released in 1997 and 1998 which were then (...) (26 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.year.2001)

  Re: Sorting the new Subthemes

(...) My thoughts are: Life on Mars is designed to be a short-lived (1-2 years) play theme completely separate from Space or Town. The set numbers we know so far are 7310, 7311, 7312, 7313, 7314, 7315, 7316, and 7317 -- the smallest being 7310 and (...)   Re: LEGO 2001

(...) I dunno. I prefer it to the crazy crosseyed time twisters face. (26 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: LEGO 2001

(...) But it is absolutely the most dumb one I've seen so far. Greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (26 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: My Space Theme Wish for 2001

(...) Yeah, bacteria can survive a lot of stuff. I wouldn't be surprised. However, I'd also assume that 1) if they're food bacteria, they're not going to really be a big problem, and 2) any food they had would be sealed, not stored on top of the (...)   Re: My Space Theme Wish for 2001

(...) They did specifically address the temperature, and the robust cosmonaut compared it to a cold Russian winter. In addition, they'd turned the thermostat on his suit way up to preserve his core temp. I'm sure he couldn't have lasted long, even (...)   Re: My Space Theme Wish for 2001

Think of all the bricks it would be... But not many space bricks, it would be more like a town setup. The really interesting part would be the hull, with all it's mazes and strange places (if you've read Rama 2 you know what I mean). And the Node! (...)
