  Re: voltage question??

(...) Hi Dave, a blue motor housing with black base, that means a very old motor like from sets 100, 102, 112, 113 from 1966 - 1968. So it's definitely a 4.5 Volt motor. (...) OK everbody, we can make some serious money here by refusing to sell these last vital items to Ben; 1. We all demand a price about 2,500% higher than the market price. 2.   9V train collection completed

After buying the LegoLOCO® software to get the small and limited edition promoset 2585 on saturday, I'm now proud owner of all 9V train items. Two weeks ago my collection of the grey era got into state of completenes too. Since I bought the long (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Question about Running 12v trains

(...) The lights _should_ be fine. Esp. if you have any real length of wire between them and the powerpack, they are not going to get 13V, in fact, they may well not even be getting 12V. The best way to judge is to take the lights, and (in a dark (...) (24 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.trains)
