| | Re: Thoughts on Spy Photos of New Trains
|
| (...) I'd just assumed that most train-heads knew that already. John, you need to open up and talk to the six-wide builders more... ;-) But what does happen if you connect a 9V battery box to a train motor is that you get not so much a (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

|
| (...) Hi John, I hope you had a nice christmas time with some nice ABS presents aimed at you and Ross? I myself was lucky enough to get a 2000 brick bucket (free from gray bricks) and a Potter set. In fact I still have no fun with the colors from (...) (19 years ago, 26-Dec-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

I think the new PF trains could add a lot of functionality to existing 9V (...) (16 years ago, 3-Apr-09, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

|
| (...) I just noticed the new PF Lithium Polymer Battery Box output is 7.4V. Am I missing something here? Did they drop it from 9V since most people only run their train controllers at the 4th or 5th 'hash mark' equating to about 7.4V maximum? Is (...) (16 years ago, 3-Apr-09, to lugnet.trains)

| | Re: DB InterCityExpress (ICE 3) train set

| Thanks for the great feedback so far. I'm glad you enjoyed the videos! I had fun making them with all the different camera angles -- there were quite a few incidents involving the train colliding with the camera as well, so perhaps I should post a (...) | | What age gap?
|
| I've heard much talk lately about trying to bridge the gap between preschoolers (Duplo) and older kids (9V trains) -- for example, the new "play train" line announced this weekend. I don't see this gap, though. My son is turning 5 soon, and he loves (...) (19 years ago, 15-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

| | Lego Survey - I really miss 9volt Trains

| There is a survey from Lego at the moment (URL) the section, suggested improvements made by others, there is a check box for "I really miss 9v LEGO trains". Just thought there would be a few people here that would like to remind Lego that 9volt (...) (16 years ago, 13-Dec-08, to lugnet.trains)

| | Re: Train motors half price via S@H weekly special
|
| If LEGO does do an RC train, I suspect it would be made to go alongside the existing 9V train and be made as either a Duplo product or a Jack Stone/4+ type product. Such a product would compete with products like Fisher Price Geotrax (which, IIRC, (...) (19 years ago, 4-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains)
