In playing... I accidentaly discovered a way to break in and loosen up neew engines. Using a battery box from my 8480 shuttle... The torqe is incredible. But do be careful, short runs only. That much amperage is a bit warm. Fred (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I believe they are yellow because in older LEGO instructions and flyers, the electric contacts on things like plates and wires are shown in yellow.
