.nyud.net:8090 is a system used to cache content, see http://www.coralcdn.org/ Its not a virus or spyware at all, its used to relieve strain on otherwise overloaded (or about-to-be-overloaded) web servers.

Yes, you are correct, Jonathan. It is a little trick I learned to (I thought) save bandwidth “theft”. I’ve never heard of anyone not being able to see them.
