That locomotive is beautiful. Have you built it in real bricks? I may build something quite similar if the articulation works well- the wheel covers look like they might be a bit close to the grey center section but I’m not experience enough to know off hand. For a space layout, I wouldn’t even mind the overwidth body.

PS. The car’s tray design is copied straight from Soren’s tray. All I changed was the wheels. I really liked the idea of a container standard and a tray standard as the ultimate in industrial transport.

The container is nice, but seems a bit part-intensive to be buildable in quantity by many builders. At least in the Space community.

Hi all, Recently Soren Roberts came up with this (URL) excellent truck> with a really nifty container format. I dug it a lot and reverse engineered it with some help from Soren for the purpose of making a train to go with it. Anyway, to cut to the (...) (19 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.space, FTX) !!
