We (GMLTC) have incorporated them into our new Milwaukee Road Hiawatha passenger train.  Pics coming soon:-)

Wow!  I absolutely love passenger trains.  Are you guys using orange, brown and
black as your primary colors for this model?  Also what time period are you
guys aiming for with this train?

Well.... We are using orange, red, and black/gray for the colors as seen here:  http://63.74.171.239/gallery_show_detail.asp?id=104
What you are looking at is my black roofed 8 wide diner, and 2 gray-roofed 6 wide passenger cars.  The Hiawatha had many color iterations; some reproducible, and some not.  So we combined a little to come up with our designs.

For instance, the original Hiawatha which began service in 1935 had gray roofs and was pulled by an Atlantic 4-4-2.  It had red trim above the windows and the rest of the cars (and windows) were orange.  Since we don't have orange windows, I modeled the first color change in 1937 when the windows were painted red and the roof black (my 8 wide
cars), and the layout's 6 wide train models the 1939 color scheme of red windows and a gray roof.

I plan on building an 8 wide Atlantic, and J1 has already built a beautiful 4-6-4 [1] Hudson to pull the 6 wide cars (sorry, no pics yet) which it actually did in 1939 to replace the Atlantics.

[1] Although J1 nailed the body design, the driver configuration was altered a 4 because of design constraints.  It, however, is a sweet model:-)
