Made a decent dent in the benchwork framing yesterday.  Turns out I was short a
2x4 for the narrow connector between the two loops.  Since I had done the
drywall finishing myself, I went ahead and bolted the framing directly to the
wall studs.  I went ahead and mitered the two outside corners,  I have six
support legs to spread around.

Next we'll see how straight I can rip plywood.  I also plan to trim out the the
exposed edge of the plywood.

Thank you all for the advise and help. We're underway with starting a shelf layout. The basement project is finally complete, last of the paint and carpeting. The playroom is nearly 11' a 11' and has already been claimed by a Duplo freight. Seeing (...) (19 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains)
