Hi !
This is a problem we encounter all the time. The solution is quite simple - add
extra power connectors at selected locations around the track. Use the long Lego
wires (hard to get) or make your own - cut a shorter wire and splice in some 24
awg to the desired length.
Try with just one extra power connector first. We've normally noted that it will
really help for loops which are about 40 foot total perimiter length. If you
have more than that, perhaps 60 feet, then add an extra power connector for each
20 feet.
This works because the wire is copper whereas the rails are not. This will make
a big difference. You can purchase extra power connectors and shorter length
wires from S@H.
Run all the booster wires back to the controller. Stack the connectors there.
If you have a wire crossed, the train will slow to a stop in the vicinity of the
reversed power connector. Just rotate the 2x2 connector and it will fix it.
Hope this helps.
