Nice work! Thanks for sharing. I have been thinking about dividing up the length
of the engine; where 1/2 is the cord of the curve and the remaining 2/4's are
evenly split on both sides of the pivot points as you have done.
Ben has shaved down the flanges on a few of these drives to make "blind
drivers", so the tie rods can extend across all three.
I'm also partial to the SNOT boiler approach.
Do you find that 1 motor can push this bad boy through "S" curves and switches
(points)? And do you need to add a second motor to pull rolling stock? I though
maybe the front truck of the tender could be a motor too, would make it
symmetrical as well.
Also like the use of the use of the interior of the macaroni for the cab
transition on the smaller engine.
